An eternal flame is a flame, lamp or torch that burns continuously for an indefinite period. Most eternal flames are ignited and tended intentionally, but some are natural phenomena caused by natural gas leaks, peat fires and coal seam fires, all of which can be initially ignited by lightning, piezoelectricity or human activity, some of which have burned for thousands of years.

From Fear to Eternity: The Best of 1990–2010 is a compilation album by British heavy metal band Iron Maiden, containing a selection of songs originally released on the eight studio albums from No Prayer for the Dying to The Final Frontier. Iron Maiden’s Eddie Album Covers. Luckily, he's got a plan for eternal life literally in hand. We can't see through the bag, but we're guessing that's an Eddie, J. possibly one of many, ready to break out into the world. When Iron Maiden brought back golden-era lead singer Bruce Dickinson after a seven-year absence for 2000's 'Brave New World,' it was only fitting that Derek Riggs also returned from a 10-year hiatus to present the cloud-based form of Eddie, looking down on all of us mere mortals in a very threatening manner. First off, the title is misleading, this is not a dance album, much to the disappointment of our sister site PopCrush. Secondly, it seems Maiden was in kind of a hurry to get this chess-board-of-doom styled album art out into the world.

Iron Maiden are an institution. Over the course of nearly 40 years they have come to embody a spirit of fearless creative independence, ferocious dedication to their fans, and a cheerful indifference to their critics that’s won them a following that spans every culture, generation, and time-zone. A story of gritty determination and courageous defiance of the naysayers, theirs has been an adventure like no other. new golden age with the release of Brave New World album in 2000. With both 2003’s diverse and ingenious Dance Of Death album and its dark and daring follow-up, 2006’s A Matter Of Life And Death, they dazzled fans and critics alike. In 2013 the Maiden England world tour took the band into Europe, the States, and South America, most notably hitting Brazil yet again for Rock In Rio which sold out 90,000 tickets within hours.

The most iconic Iron maiden album covers are from The Number of The Beast, Powerslave, Fear of the Dark, Killers and Piece of Mind. The best cover for the very best Iron Maiden album. Love it to death! 3 Killers. The Egyptian theme makes Maiden's best album also their best album cover. This cover actually made me think of To Tame a Land when I first saw it (you know the whole desert thing). This is the definitive image of the best Iron Maiden album, this image passes the power of what you're going to listen. Along with Somewhere In Time, Killers, and the Number of the Beast, it's just as awesome as the music on the album.
