The Dynatones, from Buffalo, . have been around since the late 1960s, and their longevity is directly keyed to their distinctive musical stylings and crowd appeal. Recording for several different labels, this band, which began under the leadership of drummer Larry Trojak, is now headed by trumpet player and vocalist Mark Trzepacz. Vintage Dynatones is a compilation of tunes from their years on the World Renown Sounds label, and it is a history lesson of the band's musical works. From "Zosia" polka, Scrubby's theme song, to one of the best recorded versions of "Goral" polka, this recording has it all, including tracks from their infamous Live Wire albums of the early '80s.
Performing an average of 300 shows a year for more than two decades, the Dynatones are one of San Francisco's busiest R&B bands. Formed as the backup band for blues harmonica player/vocalist Charlie Musselwhite. ead Full Biography.
Here's the isolated guitar master track for Under The Bridge. Heard from many sources that he used an MXR Dyna Comp on this track. I would assume on many other clean licks throughout the album too. You can hear the chorus kick in at the end. annostyle, Mar 31, 2017. Jul 7, 2018 MikeyG Supporting Member.
MXR’s new Dyna Comp Mini doesn’t fall far from the tree when it comes to tone or functionality, but in its smaller enclosure, it adds practicality to the elegant simplicity of the original. That’s bound to thrill working players with streamlined, fly-date boards and pedalboard maximalists trying to eek every possible square inch out of their real estate. The Mini’s transparency and headroom are certainly assets when working with other effects. This component was a fixture in the ’70s-vintage MXR Dyna Comp, the Ross Compressor that inspired it, and many boutique versions.
