Béla Fleck & Edgar Meyer - Music For Two FLAC album
A beautiful original song by Bela Fleck and Edgar Meyer (piano) with pictures I have taken around the forests and streams of Pennsylvania.
Music for Two is an album of duets by Edgar Meyer and Béla Fleck created and recorded while touring to support Perpetual Motion and released by Sony Classical in 2004. Most of the pieces are original compositions by Meyer and Fleck, working alone and together. They also perform four of their arrangements of music by J. S. Bach, an arrangement of a sonata by Henry Eccles, and piece by Miles Davis.
Banjo player supreme Béla Fleck and bassist Edgar Meyer make for a fascinating and daring duo, and they appear to be at their best live, as this esoteric disc shows. While there are plenty of original compositions from both pens, they also tackle several pieces by Bach, a wonderful Henry Eccles sonata, and some Miles Davis - gadding about all over the shop.

Bela Fleck has introduced his banjo into styles as diverse as modern jazz, classical, and African music. The master tabla player Zakir Hussain has collaborated with numerous artists from different genres, and bassist Edgar Meyer brings together two far-flung traditions - classical and bluegrass - and has teamed up with Yo-Yo Ma, James Taylor, Nickel Creek and others. The centerpiece here is the title cut, which takes up about half of the album
