Boom is the second studio album by the American garage rock band The Sonics, released in February 1966. Boom was released in 1966 by record label Etiquette ET-ALBS-027. Like its predecessor Here Are The Sonics (1965), Boom was influential on later punk rock music (see protopunk). Gerry Roslie – keyboard, vocals.

Sonic Boom is an album by jazz trumpeter Lee Morgan, recorded on April 14 and 28, 1967 but not released on the Blue Note label until 1979.

It was originally issued in 1978 as a double LP ( Jazz Classics Series, BN-LA582-J2) featuring tracks recorded in three different sessions: July 1967, September 1969 and October 1969

I did not appreciate it much as a kid, but as an adult I can fully understand the fascination with the tunes.
