How to save a life The Fray (stripped). Band Members: Isaac Slade Joe King Dave Welsh Ben Wysocki Dan Lavery New Album to be released 2008.

How to Save a Life is the debut studio album by American alternative rock band The Fray. Released on September 13, 2005 through Epic Records, the record charted in the top 15 on the Billboard 200 and was a top ten hit in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand and the UK. The first two singles from the album, "Over My Head (Cable Car)" and "How to Save a Life" helped the album become a commercial success and brought the band mainstream popularity.

I lost a friend Somewhere along in the bitterness And I would have stayed up with you all night Had I known how to save a life Let him know that you know best Cause after all, you do know best Try to slip past his defense Without granting innocence Lay down a list of what is wrong The things you've told. him all along And pray to God he hears you And I pray to God he hears you Where did I go wrong? I lost a friend Somewhere along in the bitterness And I would have stayed up with you all night Had I known how to save a life As he begins to raise his voice You lower yours and grant him one.

All the songs on their debut, How to Save a Life, sound almost exactly alike and also exactly like you would expect - sincere, melodic, authentic, and bereft of anything surprising or exciting. This doesn't make for the kind of record that people will want to listen to over and over again but for modern rock, it isn't half-bad. The Fray try hard and they never really do anything offensive. A couple of songs, like "Over My Head (Cable Car)" and "Dead Wrong," might even sound good in the background of a WB teen drama. You just can't picture them giving anyone.

It used to be the case in the older versions though, but all the songs I had previously saved by saving whole albums are not in my library anymore. But I don't see the point of saving albums, if the songs don't appear in my library. I hope this message was clear, thanks in advance for potential answers/advice.

How to Save a Life By: The Fray Record Label: Epic Records/Sony Released: September 13, 2005. Current members of The Fray: Isaac Slade – Piano, Vocals Joe King – Guitar, Vocals Ben Wysocki – Drums Dave Welsh – Guitars Jimmy Stofer - Bass. 1. She Is - The album starts out with a fairly fast song with a piano intro with the guitar following shortly after. One of the faster songs on the album doesn’t seem to stick out as being a good track on the album, a typical song about I guess a girl who left Isaac and wishes she would get back to him (yeah I contradicted myself, but hey one song is forgivable). The one thing that sticks out in this song is the cymbal crashes and tambourines in this song; however it just doesn’t seem to appeal to me in terms of lyrics or musicianship, its just overall average.
