BUDDY RICH/VERY ALIVE A. .has been added to your Basket. Includes FREE MP3 version of this album. Bought this album when it first came out in 1972. It's Buddy with his swinging big band at his best; I saw the band on numerous occasions in theatres in Yorkshire between 1968 - 1984 and was fortunate enough to spend some time with Buddy talking drums. I cannot imagine how the power must have sounded in the confines of Ronnie's though; more jazz-rock styles here than on some of the earlier albums. Format: Audio CDVerified Purchase.

Biography by Scott Yanow. Active from the swing era on, the king of the drum solo spot remains the mega-talented, acerbic Buddy Rich. Buddy Rich in London.
