Were we wrong! Our Diamond perks at a Hilton usually include an excellent breakfast, a full buffet with many choices and a fresh omelette station. The breakfast we experienced at The Cotton Sail Hotel fell so far short of the norm. The breakfast offered here, makes Waffle House look like a gourmet affair. Just a heating tray of scrambled eggs and a second choice of sausage. Decor was pretty modern and bed was comfortable. Date of stay: June 2019.
Sony's Sail On: The 30th Anniversary Collection 1974-2004 is certainly the most lovingly crafted of the many Kansas retrospectives. The album tracks are dished out in a linear fashion, making Bret Adams' interviews with the rotating cast of bandmembers all the more resonant, and the much needed remastering - the band's first two albums arrived in this form a month before - crackles with the kind of indulgent glee that can only come from the combination of crispy Hammond.
Sandy is the second solo album by British folk rock musician Sandy Denny. The album was released in 1972 and begun just a fortnight after her UK tour promoting her debut solo album, The North Star Grassman and the Ravens, ended in early November 1971.

The album is a blend between folk, Americana and alternative genres, which produces something quite special. With the accompaniment of Joy Booth, whose calming voice adds something beautiful to the songs, the album is a largely relaxing and enjoyable one. That is not to say that it is simple, far from it. Lyrically and musically, from start to finish, ‘Sail Against The Wind’ impresses throughout. The album is compromised of mainly love songs such as Rosie My Dear, which, although very sweet and still skillfully written, can be slightly tiresome
Sail On is the package that Sony released honoring the band on their 30th anniversary. The songs in this set are almost secondary to other features of the package. There is nothing new here. The next two songs are from 1975 at the time of the release of Masque the bands third album. The stage set up has changed but Steve Walsh is still sitting at the organ and singing. These two songs Icarus and The Pinnacle are just incredible. The rest of the selections on the DVD are music videos Point of Know Return, Dust In the Wind and section of 4 songs from Monolith. These are very early raw videos and are interesting from a historic stand point. They also include two from the 80's Fight Fire with Fire from Drastic Measures with John Elephonte singing and All I Wanted with Steve Morse on guitar.
Wind has to be moving against the boat at an angle of at least 40 degrees for most vessels. Angling too sharply into the wind causes the forces on the boat to become unbalanced, and moves the boat sideways in the water. A sailor intending to travel windward toward a point exactly in line with the direction of the wind will have to zig zag back and forth to reach its target. Using this "tacking" technique, and traveling at an angle as close to the wind's direction as possible, sailors can reach a point in any direction, regardless of the direction of wind
No one can tell me, Nobody knows, Where the wind comes from, Where the wind goes. It's flying from somewhere As fast as it can, I couldn't keep up with it, Not if I ran. But if I stopped holding The string of my kite, It would blow with the wind For a day and a night. But where the wind comes from Nobody knows. Alan Alexander Milne.
