Something Wicked This Way Comes (The Herbaliser album). Something Wicked This Way Comes is a studio album by The Herbaliser. It was released via Ninja Tune on 19 March 2002. It peaked at number 71 on the UK Albums Chart.

Something wicked this way comes" is part of a line uttered by a witch in Act IV of William Shakespeare's play Macbeth. Something Wicked This Way Comes may also refer to: Something Wicked This Way Comes (novel), a 1962 novel by Ray Bradbury. Something Wicked This Way Comes (film), a 1983 film adaptation of the novel. Something Wicked This Way Comes" (Ugly Betty), a 2007 episode of Ugly Betty. Something Wicked This Way Comes" (Joan of Arcadia), an episode of Joan of Arcadia.

Something Wicked This Way Comes is a 1962 dark fantasy novel by Ray Bradbury. It is about 13-year-old best friends, Jim Nightshade and William Halloway, and their nightmarish experience with a traveling carnival that comes to their Midwestern town one October, and how the boys learn about combatting fear. The carnival's leader is the mysterious "Mr. Dark", who seemingly wields the power to grant the citizenry's secret desires

Recorded in March 1998, Something Wicked This Way Comes introduced Jon Schaffer's fictional story Something Wicked Saga, which would be later expanded upon by the band. The song "Watching Over Me" was written as a tribute to Schaffer's deceased childhood friend, who inspired the name "Iced Earth". As with the band's previous album, The Dark Saga, Iced Earth were again faced with line-up changes. Long-time guitarist Randall Shawver left the band prior to the recording of Something Wicked This Way Comes, as did drummer Brent Smedley, who was unable to play on the album for personal reasons

Hip-hop producers The Herbaliser's newest release, Something Wicked This Way Comes, doesn't nearly approach the sins of smooth jazz, but their shortcomings are similar. The Herbaliser, like smooth jazz, is clearly in the game to pump out product of the baby's-butt variety. They feature a polished, precise production approach that delivers exactly what it promises- near flawlessness. Unfortunately, organizing pieces into common and predictable templates, and utilizing familiar, hackneyed hooks and grooves is more often than not a pretty boring idea. But at the end of the day, Something This Way Comes fails to distinguish itself. The beats are just fine, but they lack the risk or innovation that could potentially make them truly engaging. Moreover, it's old music; every beat on here is something you've heard before, be it in a bad 70s flick, a New Orleans jazz club, or your own hip-hop collection.

Colossal and cinematic, the fourth record from the Herbaliser is a timely achievement in music, a genre-bending statement of creative poignancy. Something Wicked This Way Comes is a quiet masterpiece, bringing together a tremendous cast of hip-hop elite and employing more of their own samples and live instrumentation than on their previous releases.

Complete your The Herbaliser collection. The first 2002 vinyl is a great press. Really good sound and well made covers outside and inside!
