Bob McGilpin was a late 70s disco artist who is best known for his 1978 disco hit, "Superstar". McGilpin released two albums on the Butterfly label, the first, "Superstar" in 1978 and the second, "Get Up!" in 1979. In 1980, McGilpin moved to Casablanca records and released one self-titled album. Certainly one of disco's lesser-known artists.
