Edge of the Kimberley. Overview (current section).

Take the Sunset strip out of Timber Creek Past the boab tree and the rusty peak A couple of hours and you're going to be On the edge of the Kimberley Took a tinny on the Ord to Ivanhoe Barramundi and buffalo I watched the crocs and the crocs watched me On the edge of the Kimberley

Lyrics to 'Edge Of The Kimberley' by Colin Buchanan. Take the Sunset strip out of Timber Creek, Past the boab tree and the rusty peak, A couple of hours and you're going to be, On the edge of the Kimberley. Kimberley Back Roads by Peter Brandy.

Colin Buchanan (musician). Practise Being Godly (1997). Follow the Saviour (1998). Live in the Big Tent (2000). Galahs in the Gidgee is the first album released by Colin Buchanan in 1991. All of the songs on the album relate to the Australian Outback, inspiration came to Buchanan while he lived in Bourke in country New South Wales as quoted in the liner notes of the album. The album was dedicated to Bill Vincent, the album cover features Buchanan in front of a stereotypical Australian country outback backdrop setting. It was photographed by Michael Saggus and designed by Deborah Parry, hanuman Dass, shelf, fire extinguisher.

Colin has put his pen to work to create this uniquely colourful and chaotic collection based on truths from sixteen of his kids Christian songs. He was nominated for four Aria Awards in 1993 for Best Country Album for Hard Times (lost to Lee Kernaghan for The Outback Club), in 1994 for Best Children's Album for I Want My Mummy (lost to Mic Conway for Whoopee), in 1998 for Best Country Album for Edge of the Kimberley (lost to Shanly Del for My Own Sweet Time) and. in 2013 for Best Comedy Release for The TGIF Songs of Colin Buchanan (lost to Tom & Alex for The Bits Were Least Ashamed Of).
